What Marquee Solutions do and provide for your wedding


Now it’s time to get started on planning your wedding and although is the most exciting time it can also be very stressful and at times overwhelming! Most people will never have done anything like this before and hard to know what you need to do, where you start and who does what so we thought we’d put together this piece to give you an insight into what we do and give you a better understanding of our services and what else you might need to think about organising at the start of your wedding planning journey!  

When you first make contact with Marquee Solutions which can either be via email, a phone call, social media or in person we’ll gather some further details from you so that we can advise accordingly. We’ll need to know if you have a venue already (this may be at your own home or you may have seen one of our exclusive venues on our website) where you’ll be holding your ceremony, your desired wedding dates, your guest numbers for your day & evening reception, the style of wedding you’re looking for and if you’re having a band and/or DJ etc. All this information will give us an idea on venues, availability and help us put together a quote for you. I think its important to add that although this information allows us to tailor make your quote to your bespoke requirements, its not essential for you to know all of this at the very beginning! We can just start with a very simple format and build it as your ideas grow and develop! It’s a process that we will work along with you!

If you already have your own venue whether that’s at your house/a friend’s house we’ll then organise an appointment with yourselves to view the property and look at the space and will just need to take a couple requirements into consideration (access, power, size etc) and this is a good time to then talk about your ideas in further detail.

If you’re sourcing a venue through ourselves, we have a wide range of different styled venues around the island. Starting from scratch can be quite daunting but we’re to help and guide you through the process with each step. We’ll go through each venue that suits your requirements and we’ll then organise site visits to take you to each venue and talk through each one in further detail. Usually, the bride and groom would then let us know their favourite and we can draw up a quote for this site to give you an idea on costings.

The initial quote will be a fairly simple including the necessities based on the venue, date, guest numbers and your requirements but we have lots of different options to add on which we would go through with you. Once we then have your venue and date booked in that’s a few things you can tick off the list! Congratulations you have your date and venue for your wedding! We would often suggest then taking a little break from the process to gather your thoughts and let your creative juices flow! It would also be a great time to then get it touch with lots of other suppliers to help pull the day together such as a caterer, florist, photographer, band, celebrant and DJ! Thanks to our bi annual wedding fayre, we really do feel we have a fantastic working relationship with most if not all local supplies and it certainly is great to work with all these wonderfully talented people! We are happy to point you in the right direction or share other supplier details with you!

Once you have an idea of the look and feel of the day you want every aspect of the marquee can be changed and one of our in-house stylists would sit down and go through this with you, look at photos and talk about different ideas to make sure we make your dream marquee wedding come alive.
